Code Yellow Towing began operations over 14 years ago as a family-run business run by owner Ron Behrendt, his wife and children. Back in those days, our company operated with just one truck – a yellow tilt and load flat bed. Over the years, as the company began to expand, so did our fleet.
Here’s a look at some of our vehicles:
Standing Up for People’s Values
Our corporate name is P.V. Development Corp. and our motto is in the name. P.V. stands for "people’s values" and we strive to embody this message 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We thank all of our clients for believing in Code Yellow Towing and its staff. It truly is the people working here that have placed value and excitement in serving our community.
We Care About Charity at Code Yellow Towing
In 2011, Code Yellow founded the Twinkle of Hope Program in Kitchener. This program generates money for the Grand River Regional Cancer Center in Kitchener, and all the donations we raise go directly to it.
Our goal is to promote awareness for cancer and other potentially deadly forms of the disease. That’s why we dedicated one wrecker and one flatbed painted in pink. In November of 2012, we donated $8,273.58 to the Twinkle of Hope program through donations from the Annual Walk-A-Thon, Mopar Fest and the Santa Claus Parade. We are also pleased to say some volunteers of the Twinkle of Hope program are proud survivors!
Best in Show Award in Fergus
In 2015, we were recognized for three awards at the Fergus Truck Show in Fergus. Code Yellow Towing took home the Best Paint award, the Best Light Duty or Medium Recovery Award and the Best Light Show Fleet 3+. We also won the 2011 award for Best Light Duty or Medium Duty Recovery or Tow.
